Course Overview:

As a Level 3 Funeral Director, you will oversee all aspects of arranging, conducting, and managing funerals. You will lead and mentor your team, liaise with various organisations and services, and ensure that the funeral meets the client’s needs. On the day of the funeral, you will brief and lead your team, act as the central point of contact, and oversee day-to-day operations, including coordinating resources and conducting pre-funeral checks.

As a representative of the business, you will uphold its reputation and professional image by building relationships within the local community and working with all denominations and faiths. You will also provide specialist services, such as exhumation, repatriation, and military funerals, and offer pre-need and aftercare services. You must be committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and service, ensuring that each funeral is a fitting tribute to the life of the deceased.
